Company Description:

We’re currently working on a search with a nimble manufacturer and distributor to the food & beverage, personal care, cosmetics and industrial industries.  Currently at an inflection point, they are about to move from a manual environment to one that is much more efficient through the use of business applications.

As a result, they are looking for a Systems Specialist to drive the implementation, adoption and utilization of their supply chain applications across multiple sites.

Position Description:

• Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, act as the liaison between the business and IT in rolling out tools to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain.
• Working closely with external consultants, lead the MRP and WMS implementations across multiple sites.
• Create and implement a process to maintain supply chain master data.
• Develop training and utilization strategies to drive improvement opportunities in areas such as OTIF, Inventory DOH and other supply chain metrics.
• Drive improvements across system implementation, system adoption and ultimate cost to serve.
• Protect the financial performance of the business by identifying potential supply chain issues.

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individual with at least 3-5 years of materials requirements planning experience.
• An intellectual curiosity and a passion for understanding supply chain system functionalities to be able to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Analytical mindset to work through challenges.
• Although not required, familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Proven track record of success in similar role.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Miscellaneous:

• $75,000 – $95,000 + bonus.
